titleOfInvention Automatic transmission
abstract To provide an automatic transmission capable of achieving at least eight forward shift stages by using four sets of planetary gears and six engaging elements. In the automatic transmission according to the present invention, six engagement elements include a first engagement element that selectively connects a first rotary member and a second carrier, an input shaft, and a first engagement element. A second engagement element that selectively connects between the three sun gears, a third engagement element that selectively connects between the input shaft and the second carrier, and a second rotating member or A fourth engaging element for selectively fixing the fifth rotating member to the transmission case; a fifth engaging element for selectively fixing the fourth rotating member to the transmission case; and a fourth ring gear. And a sixth engagement element that selectively fixes the transmission shaft to the transmission case, the output shaft is always connected to the third rotating member, and a combination of three simultaneous engagements among the six engagement elements. Thus, at least 8 forward shift stages and 1 reverse shift stage are achieved. [Selection] Figure 1
