abstract |
The present invention provides an anti-inflammatory drug including an IKAROS (IKZF1) inhibitor, which is aimed at developing a novel inflammation control method targeting a completely different type of inflammation control method. The present invention also includes the following steps (1) to (3): (1) a cell containing a nucleic acid encoding a reporter protein under the control of a transcriptional regulatory region of an IKAROS gene or a corresponding gene as a test substance. (2) a step of measuring the expression level of an IKAROS gene or an IKAROS protein or a reporter protein in the cell; and (3) an IKAROS gene or an IKAROS as compared with a case where the measurement is performed in the absence of a test substance. There is also provided a method for screening an anti-inflammatory substance, comprising a step of selecting a test substance having a reduced expression level of a protein or a reporter protein as a candidate for an anti-inflammatory substance.
