abstract Provided is an anterior capsulotomy cutter which can be operated intuitively and can cut an anterior sac in a circular shape. A rotating member 2 rotatable around an axis O is provided with a second through-hole 5b penetrating the rotating member 2 along the direction of the axis O. The operating tool 7 that pushes the rotating member 2 to rotate around the axis O is hooked into the second through hole 5b. In addition, a blade portion 6 that protrudes downward from the rotating member 2 in the direction of the axis O is provided. When the rotary member 2 is rotated around the axis O with the operation instrument 7 hooked on the second through-hole 5b in a state where the blade tip of the blade portion 6 is inserted into the patient's anterior capsule 10, the blade edge of the blade portion 6 is moved to the anterior capsule.
