abstract |
A sodium ion secondary battery having excellent cycle characteristics is provided. A positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution are included. The positive electrode includes a composite oxide containing Na as a positive electrode active material. The electrolytic solution includes a compound represented by the following general formula (1). Alternatively, a sodium ion secondary battery to which a boron compound selected from trifluoroborane is added is used. (In Formula (1), R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each independently a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and the hydrocarbon group may be partially substituted with fluorine. .)
