titleOfInvention | Bad breath odor suppressor and oral composition |
abstract | Provided are a bad breath inhibitor and a composition for oral cavity which can suppress the production of methyl mercaptan which is a component of bad breath. The composition for preventing bad breath contains at least one selected from the group consisting of kokuboku and pentaploid. Kokuboku and pentaploid suppress the expression of mgl mRNA of Porphyromonas gingivalis encoding an enzyme that degrades methionine to produce methyl mercaptan. Since the production of methyl mercaptan is suppressed, bad breath can be improved. [Selection] Figure 1 |
