abstract |
To provide an adsorbent capable of selectively adsorbing and removing strontium contained in water with little influence of calcium. A strontium adsorbent containing barium silicate. Barium silicate is amorphous or crystalline. The adsorbent has a BET specific surface area of 15 m 2 / g or more and 50 m 2 / g or less. The adsorbent preferably has a BaO / SiO2 molar ratio of 0.6 to 0.7. The adsorbent preferably contains a BaO component in a proportion of 50% by mass or more. [Selection] Figure 1 |
