titleOfInvention | Acetaldehyde odor indicator material |
abstract | An indicator material that can easily recognize the presence of acetaldehyde is provided. A cobalt component selected from the group consisting of cobalt ions, cobalt oxides, and cobalt metals is used as a discoloration component, and the cobalt component is contained in silica. It is obtained by dissolving a source of cobalt component in an acidic aqueous solution, then adding a source of silica as a base material and heating to obtain a gel-like product, and further baking the gel-like product . Since the indicator material and the odorous component come into contact and react, it is preferable to select a material through which the odorous component easily passes. [Selection figure] None |
