abstract | 【Task】 Provided are a resin composition having excellent transparency and a high refractive index and high Abbe number, and a resin molded article and an optical member obtained by using this resin composition. [Solution] A cyclic olefin resin having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a ratio of the number of carbon atoms and the number of hydrogen atoms of a repeating unit having a ring structure within a specific range and a cyclic olefin monomer are cationically polymerized. The obtained ring structure-containing hydrocarbon oligomer having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) within a specific range is 99: 1 to 30:70 in a weight ratio (cyclic olefin resin: ring structure-containing hydrocarbon oligomer).
