abstract | A method for manufacturing a composite container, a composite preform, a composite container, and a bottom protective member capable of increasing environmental stress fracture resistance (ESCR) at the bottom of a plastic bottle (composite container). A preform 10a made of a plastic material is prepared, and a bottom protective member 40a made of a polyolefin resin is provided outside the preform 10a. By performing blow molding on the preform 10a and the bottom portion protection member 40a, the preform 10a and the bottom portion protection member 40a are inflated as a unit to produce a composite container 10A. The preform 10a has a mouth portion 11a, a body portion 20a, and a bottom portion 30a, and the bottom protection member 40a is provided so as to cover at least the bottom portion 30a of the preform 10a.
