abstract The present invention provides an absorbent article that is excellent in odor control effect at the time of disposal. SOLUTION: A first gas barrier layer 71 connected to a pants-type disposable diaper, and either the front or back surface of the first gas barrier layer 71 can be peeled through an adhesive 73 containing an odor control agent. The second gas barrier layer 72 is attached to the diaper, and when the pants-type disposable diaper is discarded, the second gas barrier layer 72 is peeled off from the first gas barrier layer 71 to expose the adhesive 73 to the outer surface.
