An electrolyte, a method for manufacturing the electrolyte, and a lithium secondary battery including the electrolyte are provided. The method includes: (i) an ion conductive domain; and (ii) a copolymer including a structural domain, wherein the ion conductive domain includes a plurality of ion conductive units. The structural domain includes a structural segment including a plurality of structural units, and the structural domain is coupled to the ion conductive domain via a covalent bond and coupled to the ion conductive domain.
