titleOfInvention | Exhaust gas treatment apparatus and method |
abstract | The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification treatment apparatus and method that meet the high market demands for recent desulfurization rate and dust removal rate, and that is also applicable to water intake restrictions and satisfies new wastewater regulation values that are expected to be enacted. SOLUTION: A boiler exhaust gas introduced into an absorption tower 1 is reacted with a limestone slurry to convert sulfur oxides in the exhaust gas into sulfites and then oxidized to produce gypsum, and then by gypsum dehydrator 17 as a by-product. The generated gypsum slurry is separated into gypsum and filtrate, and the filtrate is subjected to detection of the chlorine concentration in the filtrate treated by the wastewater treatment facility 48, and the filtrate is heated and evaporated by the detected chlorine concentration. The amount of steam for heating is adjusted according to the chlorine concentration of the filtrate after being diverted to the filtrate to be diluted with make-up water, heated and evaporated with the steam from the boiler 1, and after being diluted with the make-up water. An exhaust gas treatment method and an apparatus therefor characterized by measuring a chlorine concentration of a liquid and adjusting a makeup water amount for diluting a filtrate by the chlorine concentration.
