titleOfInvention Inflatable blocking protection element
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective element in which a time for interrupting a circuit is short and the resistance value does not increase during normal energization. A protective element of the present invention is disposed between energization paths 18, 24a, and 24b that are connected between a pair of terminals and through which a predetermined current flows, and is adjacent to the energization path, and has a volume due to heat, moisture, or the like. The expansion material portion 20 is capable of expanding, and the expansion material portion 20 expands in an emergency to physically damage the energization path, thereby protecting the required electronic equipment.
