titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal alignment agent, liquid crystal alignment film, and liquid crystal display element |
abstract | A liquid crystal display element capable of expressing various characteristics in a well-balanced manner is obtained. A liquid crystal aligning agent contains a polymer (P) having a partial structure represented by the following formula (1). (In Formula (1), R1 is a tetravalent organic group, R2 is a divalent organic group. X1 and X2 are each independently a hydroxyl group or a monovalent organic group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms. However, at least one of X1 and X2 has one kind selected from the group consisting of an aromatic amine structure in which two or more aromatic rings are directly connected to a nitrogen atom, a heterocyclic group, a polymerizable group, and a photorelocation group. (It is a monovalent organic group.) [Selection] None |
