abstract | An antibody specific for human insulin that can accurately measure human insulin without being affected by porcine insulin, and a measuring method and a measuring reagent using the antibody. An anti-human insulin monoclonal antibody obtained by a method for producing an anti-human insulin monoclonal comprising the steps of 1) to 3). 1) a step of obtaining an anti-human insulin-producing hybridoma using human insulin as an antigen, 2) without reacting the antibody produced by the hybridoma obtained in 1) with a peptide fragment that has lost the three-dimensional structure composed of the sequence of RGFYTPKT, A step of screening an antibody that reacts in a state in which the three-dimensional structure of insulin is maintained, and 3) a step of obtaining an antibody produced by the hybridoma selected in 2). Furthermore, the antibody does not react with pigs, cows, dogs and insulin-free insulin, does not react with insulin-like compounds such as insulin lispro and insulin aspart, and reacts with human insulin.
