titleOfInvention | Optical element |
abstract | An optical element in which a light-shielding plate (light-shielding portion) with a clean edge is formed without roughening the surface of a glass substrate. An optical element used in an imaging apparatus incorporating a solid-state imaging device includes an incident surface on which light directed to the solid-state imaging device is incident, and the light incident on the incident surface is transmitted toward the solid-state imaging device. A transparent substrate having outgoing and outgoing surfaces on both sides, an etching stopper layer formed so as to cover at least one of the incident surface and the outgoing surface, and a central portion of the transparent substrate. And a light-shielding portion that is formed on the etching stopper layer so as to surround the outer periphery of the light-transmitting portion in a frame shape and shields a part of the light.
