abstract |
A meningococcal vaccine formulation is provided. A two-component formulation for a vaccine against Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B (“Men-B”) comprises (i) an oil-in-water emulsion adjuvant and (ii) a lyophilized form of Men-B immunogenicity. And ingredients. The lyophilized Men-B antigen can be reconstituted into a liquid adjuvanted form at the time of use for administration to a patient. This formulation has been found to give excellent results with respect to both stability and immunogenicity. The lyophilized component may further comprise a serogroup A, C, W135, and / or Y.N. One or more complex sugars derived from meningitidis may also be included. [Selection] Figure 1 |
