abstract There is provided a hydrogen separation method capable of efficiently separating hydrogen using a molecular sieve membrane and capable of preventing an explosion due to a reaction between hydrogen and oxygen without using a dilution gas. One of the space and the other space of the molecular sieve membrane partitioned by the molecular sieve membrane is supplied with a mixed gas containing hydrogen and oxygen in water, and one space of the molecular sieve membrane is provided. Hydrogen in the mixed gas is selectively permeated into the other space to separate hydrogen directly from the mixed gas. [Selection] Figure 1
