abstract A multi-walled carbon nanotube aqueous dispersion in which a multi-walled carbon nanotube is dispersed to a high concentration by using only sodium carboxymethylcellulose as an electrode film component and adding a small amount in an electrode film using a water-soluble resin as a binder. A conductive paste for an electrode film containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes and an electrode film are provided. A sodium carboxymethyl cellulose aqueous dispersion of multi-walled carbon nanotubes having an average fiber outer diameter in the range of 50 to 110 nm, wherein the multi-walled carbon nanotube content is in the range of 3 to 20% by mass, It contains sodium carboxymethylcellulose having a mass ratio of 0.1 to 0.2 with respect to the carbon nanotube, and the median diameter (d50) of the dispersion measured by a laser diffraction / scattering method is 0.3 to 0.6 μm and span A multi-walled carbon nanotube-containing sodium carboxymethyl cellulose dispersion having a value [(d90−d50) / d50] of 0.9 to 1.2 and a viscosity of 100 mPa · s or less.
