abstract |
A thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in fluidity, compression set, and flexibility, and a block copolymer that provides the same are provided. SOLUTION: Formula (1): B1-A-B2-X (1) (wherein B1 and B2 are polymer blocks mainly composed of structural units derived from conjugated diene compounds, and A is mainly a vinyl aromatic compound. A block of a polymer obtained by reacting a living polymer and a coupling agent represented by (X represents an active terminal of a living anion polymer) A hydrogenated block copolymer to be obtained; the ratio of the mass of the polymer block B1 before hydrogenation to the total mass of B1 and B2 is 0.10 to 0.45; a structural unit derived from a vinyl aromatic compound The hydrogenated block copolymer whose content is 25-50 mass% with respect to the mass of a hydrogenated block copolymer.
