abstract | An object of the present invention is a synthetic fiber that is used when producing a special nonwoven fabric, paper or other fiber product to impart an anti-counterfeit effect, and has a reversible hue change by visual observation. It is to provide a synthetic fiber having physical properties suitable for production of nonwoven fabric and papermaking. The object is a synthetic fiber comprising a lanthanoid rare earth compound and a thermoplastic resin containing polyolefin or polyamide, wherein the content of the lanthanoid rare earth compound is based on the weight of the thermoplastic resin. This can be solved by a synthetic fiber having a range of 0 to 45.0% by weight and a primary particle diameter of the lanthanoid rare earth compound of 0.6 to 9.0 μm. [Selection figure] None |
