abstract A high-quality dissolving pulp suitable for viscose rayon is provided. Dissolved pulp comprising lignocellulose as a raw material and containing at least one surface modifier. The surface modifier contains at least one kind of antifoaming agent, and the ratio of the antifoaming agent contained in the surface modifying agent is in the range of 50% or less.
