[Problem] To provide a novel varicella protozoa repellent and a method for producing the same that are inexpensive to produce and exhibit excellent medicinal effects. A protozoan protozoan control agent comprising catechins and tannin, wherein the tannin is a complex of catechins and caffeine. According to such a configuration, an anthelmintic effect superior to the case where catechin is used alone can be exerted against varicella protozoa parasitizing freshwater ornamental fish such as goldfish and Nishikigoi. In addition, since caffeine that is toxic to fish is inactivated by being complexed with catechins, it does not harm fish. [Selection] Figure 1 |
