abstract |
Disclosed is a tooth whitening composition that has a short treatment time on a subject tooth and that has no or minimal tooth sensitivity after treatment. A composition comprising 1% to 70% peroxide, a fluorescent dye having a peak absorption wavelength and a peak emission wavelength of 400 nm to 570 nm, and a carbomer. Hydrogen peroxide or the like is preferable as the peroxide or the like, and eosin B or the like is preferable as the fluorescent dye. The composition preferably contains a radical generator such as sodium perborate; a stabilizer selected from an antioxidant, a metal chelator, and a pH adjuster. [Selection figure] None |
