titleOfInvention | Electrical component and method and system for manufacturing electrical component |
abstract | A method of manufacturing an electrical component (100) includes providing an insulating substrate (104) having an outer surface (108), applying a coating layer to the outer surface, and applying an electron beam to the coating layer (106). Irradiating (110) to form a conductor (102) on the substrate. The irradiation includes heating the coating layer to melt the coating layer to form the conductor. The coating layer has a low binder concentration and a high metal concentration. The irradiation includes vaporizing substantially all of the binder to leave the substantially pure metal layer to form the conductor. The coating layer is irradiated until the non-metallic material of the coating layer is completely removed. |
