The present invention relates to a bipolar battery comprising at least two electrochemical cells (C1, C2) stacked on each other, and each current collector (13, 21) has at least one electrically insulating property at its periphery. It includes a bead (23) made of material and forms a peripheral zone of the wall that is impermeable to electrolyte. In accordance with the invention, each impermeable wall is directly coupled, anodic coupled between the bipolar current collector bead and its adjacent current collector bead, and on the bipolar current collector bead. Obtained by a technique selected from eutectic bonding between a deposited metal or eutectic metal alloy layer and a metal or eutectic metal alloy layer deposited on a bead of the adjacent current collector .
