abstract | In the present invention, the silicate is reacted with an acidifying agent to obtain a precipitated silica suspension; the precipitated silica suspension is filtered to obtain a filter cake; the filter cake comprises the addition of an aluminum compound. The present invention relates to a novel method for producing precipitated silica, which is subjected to a grinding operation; a drying step is carried out after the grinding operation. The invention is characterized in that a polycarboxylic acid selected from dicarboxylic acids and tricarboxylic acids is added to the filter cake after the addition of the aluminum compound. The invention also relates to new precipitated silicas and their use. |
