abstract | A high molecular weight, solid, meltable, heat-reacted liquid low molecular weight polysilazane in a solvent in the presence of a catalyst and terminated with a terminator as soon as the desired degree of polymerization is reached. A method for producing a pre-ceramic polymer of plastic. The resulting polysilazane is obtained from conventional and industrial methods such as extrusion, injection molding, melt spinning, calendering, blown film and blow molding (Folien-und Hohlkoerperblasen), rotational molding, fluidized bed sintering. It can be processed by flame spraying and transfer molding (RTM or DP-RTM). |
