The present invention provides a method of treating hair loss or inducing new hair growth, as well as a method of preventing hair loss, the method comprising applying an effective amount of a dihydromyricetin compound to the scalp. The present invention also provides a method of delaying or reversing the signs of skin aging, said method comprising applying an effective amount of a dihydromyricetin compound to the skin. Also provided are cosmetic products comprising dihydromyricetin compounds (eg, skin and hair products) and methods of making the compounds. |
