titleOfInvention | How to treat acne |
abstract | An improved method for the treatment of acne is described. The method involves orally administering about 40 mg doxycycline once a day for 16 weeks with a pharmaceutical composition comprising about 30 mg doxycycline in the immediate release portion and about 10 mg doxycycline in the delayed release portion. Surprisingly, this once-daily oral administration of about 40 mg of doxycycline for 16 weeks provides the same or better efficacy than 100 mg of doxycycline, but adverse events are significantly reduced. I understood. |
