abstract | The present invention relates to at least one (hydroxy) of general formula (I) wherein R 1 is hydrogen or —CH 3 , R 2 is —CH 2 OH and R 3 is hydrogen or —CH 3. Describes oligomeric condensation products obtainable from at least one phenolic compound having two centers reactive by reaction with methyl) phenol, at least one polyamine, and optionally with the methylol group of (hydroxymethyl) phenol . This type of condensation product can be used as a polymerization catalyst for epoxy resins, in which case a faster curing time and corresponding pot life can be achieved with a two-component epoxy resin adhesive. It is therefore possible to further reduce the production time in industrial applications and to develop new application fields in which adhesive bonding can be applied instead of threaded connections. The condensation products described above further have the advantage that no toxic substances such as formaldehyde or dimethylamine need to be used or released in the synthesis of these products when compared to similar conventional condensation products.
