Catalyst materials, particularly membranes, that are highly active and stable in various chemical reactions, particularly in selective hydrogenation of unsaturated organic compounds, and have low metal leaching will be described. These membranes are inorganic / polymer hybrid materials that have immobilized metal complex molecular catalysts or embedded metal nanoparticle catalysts. More specifically, the catalyst material of the present invention exhibits high activity and selectivity, and includes a wider range of organic than conventional hybrid catalyst materials due to improved affinity for organic solvents by containing specific polymer additives. Can be used for solvent species. |
