abstract A system and method for efficiently microwave drying extruded honeycomb structures is disclosed. In the method, the first and second honeycomb structure aggregates are conveyed in a plurality of cavities in opposite directions. Each honeycomb structure has a moisture content M C, and the honeycomb structure group in each cavity determines the average moisture content of 40% to 60% in the honeycomb structure group.
