titleOfInvention Method for simultaneously removing NO and carbon particles and non-organic dust from flue gas and catalytic reactor for simultaneously removing NO and carbon particles and non-organic dust from flue gas
abstract In a reactor equipped with a catalyst placed on a metal monolith support and directly decomposing nitrogen oxides, NO, carbon particles and non-organic dust are simultaneously removed from the combustion exhaust gas. Introduced tangentially from the outer periphery of the reactor, a rotating flow of combustion exhaust gas is generated in the downward direction of the reactor. Simultaneously, the flow disturbance caused by the contact of the gas and the separation of the flue gas generated by the contact with the catalyst adhering to the spiral band descending to the lower part of the reactor occur. Then, the flue gas is moved counter-currently into a cylindrical internal chamber containing a plurality of layers of monolith catalysts to disturb the laminar flow of the flue gas. Deposited solid particles of contaminants are collected at the bottom of the reactor. The invention also relates to a reactor designed to simultaneously remove NO and carbon particles and non-organic dust from flue gas. [Selection] Figure 1
