abstract A method is provided for producing middle distillates by gas to liquid conversion (GTL conversion), which comprises the following steps: (a) providing a feed stream comprising natural gas and condensate, Separating condensate from the feed stream, thereby producing a condensate feed stream and a natural gas feed stream; (b) carbon monoxide and hydrogen from the natural gas feed stream obtained in step (a). Preparing a mixture; (c) preparing a stream of long chain hydrocarbon products by performing a Fischer-Tropsch reaction using the carbon monoxide and hydrogen obtained in step (b); Subjecting the stream of chain hydrocarbon product to a hydrocracking / hydroisomerization step, thereby obtaining a hydrocracked / hydroisomerized Fischer-Tropsch (FT) product stream; (e) step (a ) Treating the condensate stream using a desulfurization step, thereby producing a condensate stream; (f) hydrocracked / hydroisomerization of step (d) to prepare a distillation feed stream Combining the FT product stream with the condensed product stream of step (e); and (g) performing a distillation step on the distillation feed stream and isolating the middle distillate product by the distillation step; Here, steps (c) to (d) are performed substantially simultaneously with step (e).
