titleOfInvention | Absorbent article containing fragrance or odor control composition |
abstract | An absorbent article selected from sanitary napkins, incontinence pads, and panty liners comprises a topsheet layer, a backsheet layer, and optionally one or more intermediate layers enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet. And a fixing adhesive applied to the garment facing surface of the backsheet, and a liquid fragrance or odor control composition applied on or in the layer of the absorbent article. Liquid fragrance or odor control composition is 5-50% by weight of menthyl acetate, menthyl lactate, menthyl propionate, menthyl butyrate, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, methyl-dihydrojasmonate, methyl jasmonate One or more esters selected from hexyl isobutyrate, linalyl acetate, benzyl acetate, phenylethyl acetate and less than 5% by weight of other esters. In the obtained article, deterioration of the fixing adhesive layer due to the transfer of the constituents of the fragrance or the odor control composition to the fixing adhesive layer is reduced. |
