abstract |
An inkjet printer includes an inkjet printhead having a plurality of color planes (1-5) for emitting a plurality of different inks. Each color plane (1-5) has a nozzle row defined on the nozzle face of the print head, and the same ink is supplied to each nozzle in the respective color plane. A first color plane that emits a first ink having a relatively low brightness is interposed between a second and third color plane that emits a respective second and third ink having a relatively high brightness. A print head is installed to be inserted. A plurality of ink reservoirs are in fluid communication with the printhead, the ink reservoirs including first, second, and third inks. The amount of surfactant in the first ink is at least 0.4% by weight greater than the amount of surfactant in the second and third inks. [Selection] Figure 2 |
