abstract |
Provided is a thickening composition for thickening a personal care or household care composition containing a cationic polygalactomannan with a crosslinking agent that does not use a potentially harmful boron compound. A cationic polygalactomannan treated with glyoxal and crosslinked, wherein the cationic polygalactomannan has a substitution degree of a cationic substituent with a lower limit of 0.05 and an upper limit of 1.0. A cationic polygalactomannan treated with glyoxal, the cationic polygalactomannan thickening a personal care or household care composition having a degree of substitution of cationic substituents of 0.05 to 1.0 Composition for thickening.
