abstract The present invention is directed to diagnosis of bladder cancer, more specifically, detection in a urine sample of metastatic bladder cancer. The detection method of the present invention can determine the grade of a detected tumor through the use of a DNA chip designed for this purpose. According to the present invention, the detection is via the labeling of the total amount of DNA in the patient's urine and the detection in this DNA of chromosomal sequences contained in loci potentially potentially affected by genetic abnormalities.
