[Solution] The light emitting element of the embodiment includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting cells arranged on the substrate, a connection electrode connecting the plurality of light emitting cells to each other, and between adjacent light emitting cells and connection electrodes connected by the connection electrode. Each of the plurality of light emitting cells includes a light emitting structure including a first conductive type semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductive type semiconductor layer, and a second conductive type semiconductor layer. And the connection electrode connects any one of the first conductive type semiconductor layers of the adjacent light emitting cells and the other reflective layer, and the second conductive type semiconductor layer has a first direction. The first width is a second width or more in the first direction of the reflective layer, and the first direction is a direction different from the thickness direction of the light emitting structure.
