titleOfInvention | Wax for electrophotographic toner, composition for electrophotographic toner, and electrophotographic toner |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wax for electrophotographic toner from which an electrophotographic toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, hot offset resistance and chargeability is obtained, a resin composition for electrophotographic toner containing the wax, and an electrophotographic toner. SOLUTION: A wax for electrophotographic toner obtained by reacting a trihydric or higher polyhydric alcohol (A) with a monocarboxylic acid (B) having an alkyl chain having 14 to 28 carbon atoms. And 1 mol of the alcoholic hydroxyl group possessed by the polyhydric alcohol (A) is obtained by reacting the carboxyl group possessed by the monocarboxylic acid (B) with 0.25 to 0.75 mol. An electrophotographic toner wax characterized by including the electrophotographic toner wax, a binder resin, and a colorant, and an electrophotographic toner composition comprising the composition. And electrophotographic toner. [Selection figure] None |
