titleOfInvention | Magnetic toner |
abstract | The present invention provides a magnetic toner that has excellent low-temperature fixability, is less prone to tailing and scattering, and is less susceptible to toner image omission, unevenness, and roughness due to penetration during transfer. A group comprising toner particles containing a binder resin and magnetic iron oxide particles, wherein the binder resin is composed of an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having 30 to 102 carbon atoms and an aliphatic monoalcohol having 30 to 102 carbon atoms. A resin having a polyester unit condensed with at least one aliphatic compound selected from the terminals, and the content of the magnetic iron oxide particles in the toner particles is based on 100 parts by mass of the binder resin in the toner particles. 30 to 80 parts by mass, and the magnetic iron oxide particles have (i) a number-based median diameter D50 of 0.05 to 0.15 μm, and (ii) a number-based D10 / D50 of 0.40 to 1. (Iii) the number-based D90 / D50 is 1.00 to 1.50. [Selection figure] None |
