abstract | A resin composition for an optical waveguide, an optical waveguide resin film, and the like, which are soluble in an alkaline aqueous solution, can be patterned by alkali development, and have excellent light propagation loss in the visible light region. An optical waveguide is provided. (A) (a) a structural unit derived from a polymerizable compound having a carboxyl group, (b) a structural unit derived from a polymerizable compound having a hydroxyl group, and (c) an aliphatic ring or an aromatic ring. A structural unit derived from a polymerizable compound, and (d) a polymer having a structural unit derived from a polymerizable compound other than (a), (b), and (c), and (B) two or more ethylenic groups. An optical waveguide forming resin composition containing a polymerizable compound having a saturated group and (C) a polymerization initiator, an optical waveguide resin film 9 produced using the same, and an optical waveguide 1 using these. .
