abstract | N- (5-tert-butyl-isoxazol-3-yl) -N ′-{4- [7- (2-morpholine-) useful for treating and preventing proliferative diseases, cancer and the like 4-yl-ethoxy) imidazo [2,1-b] [1,3] benzothiazol-2-yl] phenyl} urea provides a process for the preparation of compounds that are synthetic intermediates. 2- (4-Nitrophenyl) imidazo [2,1-b] benzothiazol-7-ol is reacted with a 4- (2-substituted-ethyl) morpholine derivative to produce 7- (2-morpholine- A method to obtain 4-yl-ethoxy) -2- (4-nitrophenyl) imidazo [2,1-b] benzothiazole. Further, the 7- (2-morpholin-4-yl-ethoxy) -2- (4-nitrophenyl) imidazo [2,1-b] benzothiazole is reduced to give 7- (2-morpholin-4-yl -Ethoxy) -2- (4-aminophenyl) imidazo [2,1-b] benzothiazole.
