A light-emitting device with improved luminous efficiency is provided. A light-emitting device according to an embodiment includes a light-emitting element that emits excitation light of near-ultraviolet light or blue light, a yellow phosphor that is represented by formula (1), and converts the excitation light into yellow light, and a yellow phosphor.
