abstract Disclosed is a reactor in which damage to a solid electrolyte caused by pressure change in a flow path is suppressed. A reactor of the present disclosure includes a solid electrolyte having a first surface and a second surface, a first electrode provided on the first surface, a second electrode provided on the second surface, A first substrate having a first recess on one main surface, a second substrate having a second recess on one main surface, and a heating element having a plurality of heat generating portions. The first electrode and the second electrode have a first catalyst and a second catalyst, respectively. The reactor has a first flow path formed by arranging the first substrate on the first surface so that the first recess faces the first electrode, and the second recess faces the second electrode. A second flow path formed by disposing the second substrate on the second surface. The exothermic density at the periphery of the reactor is greater than the exothermic density at the center of the reactor. [Selection] Figure 1
