abstract An LED lighting apparatus is provided that can prevent the relative displacement between an LED chip and an incident end face of a light guide plate and improve the incident efficiency. An upper LED light-emitting unit housed in a device main body irradiates light on an incident end face facing the light source of the LED light-emitting unit. The upper light guide plate emits light from a plane intersecting the incident end face. The incident end surface is provided with a protruding portion that protrudes in the thickness direction of the upper light guide plate. Further, the upper LED light emitting unit includes a circuit board and an upper holder 31 for fixing the circuit board. The upper holder 31 is provided with at least a pair of protrusions at positions separated by a predetermined distance so as to sandwich the protrusion. For this reason, since a protrusion part is pinched | interposed by a pair of protrusion part, the movement along a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of an incident end surface with respect to the upper holder 31 is controlled.
