abstract |
The present invention provides an image forming method capable of forming an image having excellent gloss and no print wrinkles or little wrinkles, and a combination of a thermal transfer sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet. A back layer containing (A) a polyvinyl acetal resin or polyvinyl butyral resin, (B) a cellulosic resin, and (C) a lubricant component is provided on one side of the base. An image is formed using a combination of a thermal transfer sheet provided with a dye layer and a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet containing an aqueous resin that can be dispersed or dissolved in an aqueous solvent on one surface of another substrate.
