It is possible to increase the density of an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery as compared with the case where a Li-MP complex oxide having a small particle size is used. An active material obtained by dispersing a binder including a Li-MP composite oxide, a conductive auxiliary agent, and a first resin as an acidic binder in a second resin different from the first resin.
