abstract | The present invention provides a waste liquid treatment system and a waste liquid treatment method capable of appropriately and efficiently treating an alkaline waste liquid containing dibutyl phosphate. A mixing tank to which an alkaline waste liquid is supplied, a processing liquid supply section for supplying molybdenum salt, a zirconium salt and an acidic solution to the mixing tank, and a supply of the processing liquid from the processing liquid supply section to the mixing tank are controlled. The control device supplies molybdenum salt, zirconium salt and acidic solution from the treatment liquid supply unit to the mixing tank, and precipitates dibutyl phosphoric acid contained in the alkaline waste liquid.
